The Design–Build–Operate Project for the Nhieu Loc–Thi Nghe Wastewater Treatment Plant was implemented in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.
As part of the project, VINA E&C participated in Waterline Package A, covering civil works for the waterline system and auxiliary facilities in Area A.
The project partner/general contractor was the ACCIONA–VINCI Joint Venture.
The principal facilities under Waterline Package A included:
Civil and structural works for the MBBR Tank.
MBBR refers to the Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor treatment process.
Civil and structural works for the Turbo Blower Building.
Associated waterline and auxiliary works within the contractual scope.
Structural construction of the Lamella Clarifier.
Associated civil works supporting the settling and treatment process.
Civil and structural works for the Disc Filter Building.
Associated works within the contractual scope.
Construction of the Flow Metering Chamber.
Construction of associated structures and auxiliary works.
Civil and structural works for the UV Disinfection Building.
Associated outfall works within the package scope.
Construction of other auxiliary facilities in Area A.
Coordination of waterline works and connections between the facilities.
Implementation of safety, quality and schedule control throughout construction.

The project demonstrates VINA E&C’s capabilities in delivering large-scale technical infrastructure and wastewater treatment facilities.
The simultaneous construction of multiple treatment tanks, process buildings, metering chambers and auxiliary facilities required the effective management of large-volume reinforced-concrete works, multidisciplinary technical coordination and strict control of safety, quality and schedule.

VINA E&C participated in Construction of Main Technical Infrastructure – Area A in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, including site grading and ground treatment and internal road systems.
Building long -term and temporary dioxin -contaminated land storage areas, constructing transport infrastructure, excavating and transporting contaminated soil, as well as installing waterproof HDPE lining.
VINA E&C participated in site-grading and villa-construction works for the Six Senses Saigon River Eco-Urban Development in Dai Phuoc Commune, Nhon Trach District, Dong Nai Province. The scope included site formation for Areas 2A, 2B and the Resort Area, together with the construction of 76 villas.
VINA E&C participated in Package L – Shoreline Protection Works under the Long Son Petrochemicals Complex Project. The scope included port revetments, site formation, internal roads, soft-soil treatment using PVD, flood-protection and drainage systems, a firewater tank and a pump house.
VINA E&C participated in Package J – Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion under the Ho Chi Minh City Water Environment Improvement Project – Phase II. The scope included reinforced-concrete treatment tanks, construction and expansion joints, waterproofing, staircases, drainage works and a bypass road.
VINA E&C participated in the construction of technical infrastructure, warehousing facilities and the Hung Thai Maritime Service Port in Phu My Town, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province. The scope included two warehouses with a combined area of 39,482 m², internal roads, a weighbridge, piling works, dredging and a cargo berth.
VINA E&C participates in Package CW1 under the Dioxin Remediation at Bien Hoa Airbase Project. The scope includes construction of a 150,000 m³ Pre-Treatment Storage Area, excavation and transportation of up to 270,000 m³ of dioxin-contaminated soil and sediment, and associated treatment, storage and technical infrastructure.
