PACKAGE L – SHORELINE PROTECTION WORKS

Package L – Shoreline Protection Works is part of the Long Son Petrochemicals Complex Project located in Long Son Commune, Vung Tau City, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province.

The project was developed by Long Son Petrochemicals Co., Ltd., with POSCO E&C Co., Ltd. serving as the General Contractor.

VINA E&C participated in the execution of Package L, with a contract value of VND 667,470,909,461. The scope covered shoreline-protection structures, site development, internal roads, soft-soil treatment and technical infrastructure serving the petrochemical complex.

SCOPE OF WORK

The principal scope of work included:

Shoreline-protection structures

Construction of the Main Port Revetment.
Construction of the Construction Port Revetment.
Execution of shoreline-protection works within the package.

Site development

Site formation works in Areas 6, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18.
Ground preparation and site-development works for subsequent project facilities.

Internal roads

Construction of roads within the Custom Area.
Construction of roads RD01, RD02, RD03, RD04, RD05 and RD06.
Development of internal transport infrastructure connecting the project areas.

Soft-soil treatment and technical infrastructure

Construction works within the flare area.
Soft Soil Treatment using prefabricated vertical drains (PVD).
Construction of the flood-protection system.
Construction of water collection and drainage systems.
Construction of the firewater tank and pump house.

DEMONSTRATED CAPABILITIES

The package demonstrates VINA E&C’s capabilities in delivering integrated, large-scale infrastructure works, including shoreline protection, site formation, internal roads, soft-soil treatment and drainage systems.

The simultaneous execution of multiple work disciplines within a petrochemical complex required effective construction management, technical coordination and strict control of safety, quality and schedule.

The Gia Binh International Airport Construction Investment Project is a key aviation infrastructure project in Bac Ninh Province, oriented toward the development of a modern international airport and contributing to regional connectivity in Northern Vietnam. At the project, VINA E&C is updating and carrying out construction works related to the VIP terminal, Air Traffic Control Tower, power house and supporting technical facilities. The current scope includes dismantling load-bearing scaffolding, defect rectification on the ceiling surface of Level 1 – Zone 3.1, construction of foundation tie beams for the VIP terminal and power house, as well as rebar and concrete works for water tanks, fire-fighting water tanks, oil tanks and related structures. The project demonstrates VINA E&C’s capability in organizing construction works for aviation infrastructure, with strong requirements for progress, quality, safety and site coordination.
