BIEN HOA AIRBASE DIOXIN REMEDIATION – TREATMENT PHASE 1

The Dioxin Contamination Remediation Project at Bien Hoa Airbase is being implemented in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province.

Under Treatment Phase 1 (TP1), VINA E&C is delivering the full civil-construction and structural-steel scope for the treatment facilities and associated infrastructure.

The project partner/general contractor is Nelson Environmental Remediation USA Ltd. The works commenced on 29 September 2025 and are currently in progress.

SCOPE OF WORK

Material-storage facilities

• Construction of the Feed Material Storage Building (FMSB).

• Construction of the Treated Material Storage Building (TMSB).

• Construction of the treated-material storage area.

• Construction of the process-water storage area.

Treatment plant and material-transfer system

• Civil and structural-steel works for the treatment plant.

• Construction of conveyor canopies.

• Construction of the connecting road between the FMSB and TMSB.

• Construction of supporting structures for material-transfer operations.

Operational and supporting facilities

• Construction of the central control container.

• Construction of the fuel station.

• Construction of the workshop.

• Construction of the office facilities.

• Construction of the equalisation pond.

Infrastructure and utilities

• Construction of technical infrastructure within the package scope.

• Construction of utility systems serving the treatment facilities.

• Coordination of civil, structural-steel and interconnection works between the facilities.

DEMONSTRATED CAPABILITIES

The project demonstrates VINA E&C’s capabilities in delivering integrated civil, structural-steel and utility-infrastructure works for environmental treatment facilities.

The scope includes various facility types, ranging from storage buildings, a treatment plant and conveyor canopies to internal roads, operational facilities and utility systems. Its execution requires effective technical coordination, construction management and strict control of safety, quality, environmental requirements and schedule.
