On Sunday, August 16, 2026, in Long Son Commune, Ho Chi Minh City, VINA E&C Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company joined Long Son Petrochemicals Co., Ltd. (LSP) and other partners in the “Proactive Prevention and Community Health Care 2026” program, contributing to improved access to essential health care services for local residents.
The program was organized by LSP in coordination with the People’s Committee of Long Son Commune and the Long Son Commune Health Station, with the participation of partner organizations including Hiep Phat Food Co., Ltd., Minh Nam Phat Investment Trading Service Co., Ltd., PTSC Production Services Joint Stock Company (POS), and VINA E&C Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company.
First launched in 2017, the initiative has become one of LSP’s key annual community health programs in Long Son. The 2026 program marked the 12th implementation of the initiative, continuing a long-term effort to promote proactive health care, early disease detection, and better quality of life for local communities.
This year’s program focused on encouraging local residents to take a more proactive approach to their health through screening, medical consultation, treatment support, and early detection of common non-communicable diseases.
Residents aged 40 and above were provided with screening and consultation services for conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, with support from the Long Son Commune Health Station.
These activities helped strengthen awareness of the importance of regular health monitoring, early diagnosis, and timely management of chronic diseases, while also reinforcing the important role of local primary health care services in disease prevention and long-term community health management.
In addition to screening for non-communicable diseases, the program also placed particular emphasis on maternal and child health.
Pregnant women received ultrasound examinations and consultations related to pregnancy and maternal health. Children under six years old with nutrition-related concerns were provided with health assessments and nutritional consultations.
These services were delivered with professional support from experienced doctors and medical specialists in obstetrics, gynecology, and nutrition from Hoan My Hospital and Nguyen Thi Thap Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
By integrating preventive health screening with maternal health care, child nutrition, and community education, the program provided a more comprehensive approach to supporting the health needs of different age groups within the local community.
Through medical examinations, health consultations, screening activities, and professional assessments, more than 200 local residents were able to access appropriate medical advice and recommendations to help them better understand, monitor, and protect their health.
Beyond individual medical consultations, the program also provided medicines and medical equipment to the Long Son Commune Health Station, helping strengthen the capacity of local primary health care services.
The total value of support provided through the 2026 program was more than VND 100 million.
The initiative not only addressed immediate health care needs but also contributed to improving community awareness of preventive health care, encouraging residents to develop healthier habits and seek medical advice before health conditions become more serious.
The combination of health screening, consultation, medical support, maternal care, and child nutrition services also helped expand access to essential health care for different groups within the community.
The program demonstrates the value of collaboration among businesses, local authorities, health care providers, and community organizations in addressing practical health care needs.
Over the years, LSP and its partners have continued to support community-based health initiatives in Long Son, with a focus on strengthening preventive care and improving access to essential medical services.
According to information from LSP, including the 2026 program, more than VND 7.4 billion has been invested by LSP and its partners in annual community health care initiatives in Long Son since the program was introduced.
The continued implementation of these activities reflects a long-term approach to community development in which businesses work alongside local authorities and health care institutions to create sustainable social value.
For VINA E&C, sustainable development is not only reflected in the quality of the projects and infrastructure it delivers, but also in the company’s responsibility toward the people and communities where it operates.
Alongside its core business activities, VINA E&C has continued to participate in social welfare, community health, and environmental initiatives together with its clients, partners, and local communities.
By joining the “Proactive Prevention and Community Health Care 2026” program, VINA E&C continues to reinforce its commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainable development through practical activities that directly benefit local residents.
The company believes that long-term value is built not only through engineering capability, construction quality, safety, and project performance, but also through shared responsibility, meaningful partnerships, and positive contributions to society.
Through cooperation with LSP, local authorities, health care providers, and other partner organizations, VINA E&C hopes to contribute to building a community that is healthier, more proactive in health management, and better equipped for sustainable development.
The program also reflects VINA E&C’s broader commitment to working alongside its partners and local communities to create lasting value for customers, partners, employees, and society.
