TRAN CHAU FISHING PORT – PACKAGE NO. 5: JETTY CONSTRUCTION

The Tran Chau Fishing Port Development Project was implemented on Cat Ba Island, Cat Hai District, Hai Phong City.

As part of the project, VINA E&C participated in Package No. 5 – Jetty Construction.

The package covered jetty construction, dredging of the port-water areas, installation of navigation buoys and construction of facilities supporting fish reception, sorting and preliminary processing activities.

SCOPE OF WORK

Jetty construction

  • Construction of the jetty structures.

  • Placement of approximately 1,100 m³ of concrete.

  • Construction of auxiliary works within the jetty scope.

Dredging works

  • Dredging of the navigation channel.

  • Dredging of the turning basin.

  • Dredging of the storm-shelter anchorage area.

  • Associated works for the navigation buoy system.

  • Total dredging volume of approximately 650,500 m³.

Fishing-port operational facilities

  • Construction of the fish reception building.

  • Construction of the fish sorting and preliminary processing area.

  • Construction of the firefighting water-supply system.

  • Total facility area of approximately 1,500 m².

DEMONSTRATED CAPABILITIES

The project demonstrates VINA E&C’s capabilities in transport and marine construction, combining jetty structures, dredging and fishing-port operational facilities.

The simultaneous execution of onshore and marine works required multidisciplinary construction management, equipment coordination and strict control of safety, quality, environmental requirements and schedule.

The Gia Binh International Airport Construction Investment Project

The Gia Binh International Airport Construction Investment Project is a key aviation infrastructure project in Bac Ninh Province, oriented toward the development of a modern international airport and contributing to regional connectivity in Northern Vietnam. At the project, VINA E&C is updating and carrying out construction works related to the VIP terminal, Air Traffic Control Tower, power house and supporting technical facilities. The current scope includes dismantling load-bearing scaffolding, defect rectification on the ceiling surface of Level 1 – Zone 3.1, construction of foundation tie beams for the VIP terminal and power house, as well as rebar and concrete works for water tanks, fire-fighting water tanks, oil tanks and related structures. The project demonstrates VINA E&C’s capability in organizing construction works for aviation infrastructure, with strong requirements for progress, quality, safety and site coordination.

On July 29, 2025, VINA E&C officially commenced the Road No. 6 Upgrade Project in Long Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc City, under Package No. 4 – Construction. The project is commissioned by the Thu Duc City Infrastructure Development Center.

Package L – Shoreline Protection Works, Long Son Petrochemicals Complex

VINA E&C participated in Package L – Shoreline Protection Works under the Long Son Petrochemicals Complex Project. The scope included port revetments, site formation, internal roads, soft-soil treatment using PVD, flood-protection and drainage systems, a firewater tank and a pump house.
