VINA E&C Accelerates Construction Progress at Thuong Phuoc – Moc Ra International Border Gate Infrastructure Project

28.10.2026

On October 27, 2026, VINA E&C continued to mobilize manpower and equipment to advance construction activities under Packages 24 and 25 of the Thuong Phuoc – Moc Ra International Border Gate Infrastructure Project in Dong Thap Province, with a focus on safety, quality, and project progress.

Advancing Key Construction Activities

Under Package 24, sand filling works had reached approximately 154,000 out of 170,000 cubic meters, exceeding 90% of the planned volume as of October 25, 2026. Bridge construction was progressing, with concrete deck casting completed for two of seven spans. Subsequent construction activities and preparations for roadbed and pavement works were also underway.

Under Package 25, multiple construction operations continued simultaneously, including earthworks, roadbed compaction, sand filling, embankment construction, geotextile reinforcement, and ground improvement.

Bridge works included reinforcing steel installation for the T4–T5 deck span, installation of concrete cover slabs, and related structural activities. Preparations for technical infrastructure and finishing components were also in progress.

Addressing Challenges and Maintaining Progress

The project continues to face challenges related to construction material availability, particularly crushed stone aggregates required for road construction.

VINA E&C is coordinating with relevant departments to secure additional material supplies, optimize resource allocation, and prepare supporting components to maintain construction continuity.

On October 27, Mr. Vu Van Liem, General Director of VINA E&C, visited the construction site to review actual progress and discuss practical solutions with the project management team.

Through proactive coordination and resource mobilization, VINA E&C remains committed to advancing construction activities while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Upon completion, the Thuong Phuoc – Moc Ra International Border Gate Infrastructure Project is expected to strengthen regional transport connectivity, facilitate cross-border trade, and contribute to the socio-economic development of Dong Thap Province.
